My period have always been irregular, but recently my periods have pretty much stopped. I haven’t had a period for at least four months now. I’m sexually active but not pregnant.
Just curious if my excessive and quick weight gain could stop my period and if anyone thinks that as I work to lose the weight my period will come back?

I am a 27 year old female and have been on Xanax for over 3 years and I am sick of them. They work wonderfully to keep my anxiety at bay, but the little boogers have made me gain 50 pounds! A friend says that they slow your metabolism down to almost non-existent. I think I may have more of a chemical dependency on them by now as my life is not so stressful as it once was. I need to get off of them!!! But I feel that I do need an alternative medication, to help calm my nerves and keep me from getting depressed. But one that doesn’t cause weight gain!!! Any suggestions and shared personal experiences will be much welcomed. Thanks!!!

What do you suggest for healthy weight gains? Please dont just say eat more, specify.

I recently went from 141 to 115 and I figured after all that wieght loss I could treat myself with some broccoli and fries for dinner and soy icecream for dessert, but I went out of control whent eating that soy icecream and consumed quite a bit. I’m wondering what kind of exercise I can do to prevent gaining weight back from my binge?
In a day I consume anywhere from 175 to 350 calories. I seemed to have, all together today, consumed around 900 calories. How much weight would that add to me if I didn’t exercise?

I am 24 years old & just took my 1 hour sugar test at 32 weeks & 4 days prego, my results before the drink (while fasting) was 91 & after the drink was 161. I was told at first that, that was to be expected being as I had, had the drink by the lab tech. The doctor notified me later & told me that my sugar level was too high & that it shouldn’t be over 138. So now they want me to come in for a 3 hour test. Kind of has me scared. My baby was already measuring the size & weight of a full term baby (6 lbs. 8 oz.). . .about 3 weeks early. My first baby weighed 9 lbs. & 3 oz., but my test results were normal with him (I know every pregnancy is different). What effect can this have on my baby besides weight gain. . .? I have been told that usually after your pregnancy ends so does the gestational diabetes. . .but I have been told that once you have gestational diabetes. . .that you have a greater chance of having a type of diabetes, which really scares me!
