Your pretty much in the healthy weight range for 5′10”. But if you want to gain some muscle it is true that 1 pound a week is the healthiest because it doesnt put a strain on your body like gaining abnormal amounts of weight would. Besides you wont be able to gain more than 1 pound a week unless you absolutely stuff yourself with food

How much you should weigh is dependent on several things. Your body type, your activity level and if you play sports. For example IF you play football and you weigh 135lbs I’d say you might be underweight. BUT, if you ran cross country that might be a perfect weight for you.
One pound a week is doable. Remember that it takes a surplus of 3500 calories to gain a pound of fat or muscle. If you workout and you don’t burn off the extra calories doing other stuff then in theory you’ll gain some muscle mass (lean tissue). If on the other hand you don’t workout and just increase your caloric intake then you’ll add fat to your frame.
    I hope this helps.
