im almost 14, and i got my period for the first time in february. in august i was 110 pounds and now im 130. i havent changed my diet and i still excersize the same amount(i play soccer and hockey). do you think the weight gain is from my period or not?
I think you should go on a diet.

It’s normal to gain weight from your period, but that much weight could be questionable. You should ask your doc.
it’s normal, but 20lbs is a lot.. you should go see a doctor and ask about it.. after you have a couple periods the amount of weight gain should definately go down.
its ok to gain a little usually once its over it goes away its mostly just retaining water
yea, don’t worry. i got mine for the 1st time last month adn i can tell i lost weight. im doing everything in my power to lose weight. im like 145 and thats bad. my older sister was 90 pounds when she started then she got to 120
It is normal. U don’t exactly gaing fat. Ur body develops and it gets thicker or wider thats where all the weight is. Remember ur body changes from agirl’s to a young woman’s!!
i do think that your weight gain is because of your period, but it’s normal, and as you keep having your period, you’ll feel bloated, but it’s only water weight. take care.
