I wanted to use mirena as birth control because it was proven that it does not cause weight gain. But the problem is that a cupple of my friends got it and couldn’t take the pain so they removed it. Is there any kind of birth control that will not cause weight gain?
most pills don’t cause weight gain. the only thing that really causes weight gain is the shot.
the dime method. That is where you hold a dime between your knees, if you drop the dime you may get pregnant.
(that is what my mom always said anyway)
Really all of them carry some side affects of weight gain, that doesn’t mean you will gain, all side effects don’t effect every person.
Just to make you think a little bit, I want you to know I have 3 kids from the pill ( low, med., and high dose) and I also have one from Depo shot.

My doctor told me YAZ was great for not gaining weight. I have been on it and not gained any weight at all. The only bad thing is that it’s making me so angry and moody for no reason at all. Some people have no problems…..every women is different but i hope this helped. Good luck
