I have Marfan’s Syndrome (a tissue disorder), at about 102 pounds and 19 years old and I’m trying to gain weight basically everywhere, and build muscle and tone my body as well. I’ve just started jogging, about 15 minutes a day and trying for everyday. Should I do upper body exercises as well like push ups or weights? I am also drinking Boost meal supplemental drinks to help with the weight gain. Thanks for the advice!
you should probably jo for at least 30 minutes I think. but other than that, lifting weights would definitely help in gaining muscle weight.
for wait gaining take supplements.. i defiantly recommend “Carnivor” puuure protein with will form your muscles better and make you gain wiat.. running will only make you loose wait.. so i recomend just lifting waits and working out your legs is important since more your blood will run through you body from your legs..
but if you are interested in a work out routine then here is what i do
1. Monday- Chest & Triceps
2. Tuesday- Sholders & Biceps
3. Wensday- Back & Traps
4. Thursday- Legs & Abbs
5. Friday- Low Weight full body Workout
you are on the right track. Yes doing pushups will get you toned and you will build muscle. Also lift weights and try using WHEY protein. It is very good. Good luck
