Your Ultimate Guide to Gaining Weight

Are There Any Psychiatric Or Antidepressants That Do Not Cause Weight Gain?

For situational depression and panic attacks, I have been on a variety of medications. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any antidepressants that did not cause weight gain? Thank you.

“Methamphetamine” Hu Hu Yes that is so true but unfortunatly can cause mental illness – oh yeah and then there is that pesky illegal factor.
In my experience it is not the anti depressant that makes you fat. It is your change in attitude once you take them. You become more relaxed, less motivated and have no guilt stopping you from eating all the naughty stuff. It removes the body conscious anxiety that has you stressing about what you look like and what people think of you.
If you are conscious that this will happen then you can keep an eye on yourself. You can be healthy and happy it just takes will power!

    It changes with each person.
I am on Efexor XR 150mgs a day [have been for the past 6 weeks] and I have lost roughly 8kgs.
    I also have depression&anxiety.
